Kubernetes job support for developers who have to ship to a cluster
Your service runs fine in Docker but keeps restarting in the cluster, and kubectl isn’t telling you why. A senior engineer who has run Java platforms on Kubernetes and OpenShift joins you over screen-share and debugs it with you — pods, probes, configuration and Helm charts.
- Free scoping call
- No passwords shared
- NDA on request
- 200+engineers supported in new roles
- 21+years of combined engineering experience
- 11specialties, from Java and Camunda to AI
- Globalclients in every time zone
What Kubernetes job support covers
Debugging workloads
CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled and ImagePullBackOff — reading events and logs, and getting inside a failing pod to see what’s wrong.
Deployments and health
Rolling updates, liveness, readiness and startup probes, and resource requests and limits that fit how the JVM actually uses memory.
Configuration and networking
ConfigMaps and Secrets, Services, Ingress and OpenShift Routes, and service-to-service DNS inside the cluster.
Helm and delivery
Chart values and templates, upgrades and rollbacks, and the CI/CD pipelines that deploy to your cluster.
Where developers usually get stuck
- Pods sit in CrashLoopBackOff and the logs end before anything useful.
- A Java service gets OOMKilled even though the heap looks fine.
- The readiness probe fails and traffic never reaches the new version.
- helm upgrade fails halfway and the release is stuck.
- Service A can’t reach service B inside the cluster.
Have a custom requirement? We’ll build support around it.
Every project is different. Tell us your technology, schedule and the help you need, and we’ll set up job support that fits — with a quote after the free scoping call.
Any stack or tool
Your project uses something not listed here? Tell us. We’ll say honestly whether our engineers know it.
Your hours
Sessions in your local working hours in any time zone, before stand-up, or around a release deadline.
One task or ongoing
One urgent ticket, a full sprint, or daily support for as long as the project needs it.
Extras on request
Interview prep, mock interviews, resume reviews and design walkthroughs.

What developers say after working with us
Names are shortened to protect our clients’ confidentiality.
“The technical mentoring helped me work through complex Java, Spring Boot, and microservices challenges. The explanations were practical and focused on real-world development, debugging, and production troubleshooting.”
“I needed guidance with Camunda process orchestration, BPMN workflows, external task workers, and Java integration. The structured technical sessions helped me understand workflow implementation and resolve development challenges.”
“The support covered React, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database integration. The practical approach helped me understand how frontend and backend components work together in an enterprise application.”
“The support covered React, Java, Spring Boot, API integration, and database operations. I especially appreciated the step-by-step explanations and practical examples that helped me troubleshoot full-stack application issues.”
“The sessions focused on Java microservices, exception handling, SQL queries, logs, and debugging production issues. The guidance was structured and focused on understanding the root cause instead of just fixing the immediate problem.”
“I needed guidance across multiple technologies, including Java, Camunda, React, and REST APIs. The integrated approach helped me connect backend workflows with frontend functionality and build a better understanding of the complete application.”
Ground rules that protect you and your job
You stay at the keyboard
You share your screen and do the work; we guide, explain and review. You own your commits — that’s how the skills stick.
Your employer’s systems stay protected
We never ask for passwords or repository access. Please check your employer’s policies allow screen-sharing before you book. We don’t take on export-controlled (ITAR/EAR), classified or health-records work.
Confidential by default
We sign an NDA on request and never share who our clients are or where they work.
One engineer, one context
You won’t have to re-explain your project each time. Your engineer keeps notes on your codebase and goals.
From first call to confident on your own
Free scoping call
30 minutes on your role, stack, team rhythm and where you feel shaky. Share your requirement and we match you with an engineer who knows your stack.
Schedule around your stand-up
Sessions land in your local working hours — Americas, Europe, Middle East or Asia-Pacific — with a slot before stand-up if you want one.
Work through your tickets together
You share your screen and drive. We explain the code, debug with you, and review your changes before you open the PR.
Taper off as you grow
Most engineers move from daily to weekly sessions within a couple of months. The goal is that you no longer need us.

Helm upgrade failed: how to debug and roll back
Fix failed Helm upgrades: stuck pending releases, timeouts, “has no deployed releases”, existing resources and immutable fields — plus safe rollbacks and prevention.
Why does my Java app get OOMKilled when the heap looks fine?
The container memory limit covers everything the JVM uses — heap, metaspace, thread stacks and off-heap buffers — not just the heap. Size the heap as a share of the container limit (for example with -XX:MaxRAMPercentage) and leave headroom for the rest.
Do you support OpenShift?
Yes — OpenShift and plain Kubernetes, deployed with Helm, including OpenShift-specific pieces such as Routes.
Can you help with managed Kubernetes in the cloud?
Yes — managed clusters on AWS or other clouds, and on-premises clusters. The kubectl and Helm workflow is the same.
